SPAX - Made in Germany
Michael A. Thomas, executive director of SPAX International, has stood by the German location. Increasing numbers of companies are migrating to low-wage countries. This applies not only to telephone producers and the textile industry, but for years has also been the case with screw manufacturers. Unfortunately this has had consequences for the quality. By contrast, SPAX customers can set their minds at ease. Even though SPAX has long become a brand name product around the world, the medium-sized company remains true to its location in Germany and the high quality standards there.
The traditional company SPAX International, founded in 1823 under the name ALTENLOH, BRINCK & CO. as the first German company to undertake the industrial manufacturing of screws, has been developing new ideas in Germany for generations. The product range in this country is thus continuously being expanded, and quality is being established for customers in the do-it-yourself market and specialist retail throughout the world. A significant contribution to this is made by the brilliantly trained employees of SPAX International at our location in Germany.
Consumers can be sure that the SPAX are produced exclusively in Germany. At the Ennepetal production site, approx. 450 employees ensure that approx. 50 million SPAX per day are manufactured and distributed around the world.
