Woodworking

  • Attachment of counter-battens and wood based panels (e.g. suction-proof fastening of roof battens)

Advantages

  • Considerably reduced screwing-in torque and reduced splitting effect
  • Length specification and manufacturer logo on the head
  • Higher head traction forces than countersunk head screws

Approved by building authorities

  • Under licensing number Z-9.1-449. Z-9.1-511 – approved by building authorities for fastening rooftop insulation systems
washer-head-spax-t-star-plus-8-mm-full-thread-wirox

Special properties

  1. Wide overlying Washer head
  2. WIROX P3J: The surface with extremely high protection against corrosion
  3. Full thread: absorption of high tensile and compressive forces
  4. T-STAR plus: secure bit grip, no cam-out effect, optimal force transmission

Features

  1. 4CUT: allows screwing in without pre-drilling (wood-dependent), reduces splitting as square end displaces the fibres
  2. ground serrations: up to the point – quick and secure fastening

Application

The non-threaded part must completely reach through the upper component. The washer head then pulls the upper component tighter to the lower component with each thread rotation.
