Our wood building screws are the perfect solution when it comes to maximum reliability and the simplest processing. Their strengths, such as a greatly reduced screw-in torque and the very low splitting effect, are particularly in demand in timber construction, since the large dimensions of the wood that are usually used mean that rapid screw-in of the wood screws saves a lot of time. We make particular use of this in constructive timber construction, where our partially and fully threaded screws are used for highly durable and long-lasting wood connections. The major advantage of such screw connections is that the usual sheet metal mouldings and fittings for the wood connections are no longer needed. In addition to the economic efficiency – fittings often have to be completely nailed out – the much more pleasant pure wood look also plays an important role. For you, this means: You save a lot of money on expensive wood connectors, which are also not beneficial for the appearance of a wooden structure. You can create highly durable and long-lasting wood connections in the simplest way. If two wood components are pulled tight in constructive woodwork, the connection must be further reinforced to safely absorb the normal and transverse forces that occur. This is a fully threaded screw with a pan or countersunk head that is screwed into both components at an angle of 30° or 45° to the direction of force. The angled screw placement is important so that as few shearing forces as possible act on the screw under load, but more tensile forces, which our wood building screw can easily handle with its full thread. It is also this full thread that makes a flat head redundant in this screw, and the cylinder head, which is just the size of a bit, can be completely countersunk in the wood. What this means for you is that our wood building screws make solid connecting fittings redundant. You can easily create almost invisible yet extremely stable wood connections.
