In the classic carpentry trade, complex cuts for the overlaps are necessary for the longitudinal connections of purlins (Gerber joint). With our Gerber connector SXGER you make it much easier: The purlins only need a straight section and the 2-part connector is placed over the straight joint from both sides and screwed or nailed - done! Due to the hole pattern, the minimum distances to the end grain and parallel to the grain and also the minimum distance to the stressed edge are maintained. Depending on the amount of load, the connectors can be partially or fully nailed out, for this you need our SPAX grooved nails or our SPAX wood connector screws.This means for you: Easy production of a Gerber joint, fast assembly, because of predefined minimum distances in the connector.
