If you don't want to leave any doubts about safety, you can't compromise on quality.

SPAX will not make any compromises on this point in the future.

Quality and safety, which you can rely on, are the top priorities for our fasteners "made in Germany".

With SPAX you are always on the safe side!

Clear commitment to quality and safety

SPAX International stands by Germany as a business location - The corporate philosophy of SPAX was and is to produce at the domestic location in order to fully meet the high quality standards. With the SPAX promise, "Made in Germany", SPAX International consciously contributes to securing the location, but also to the greatest possible transparency for customers and partners. Because the claim remains to produce high-quality, quality-controlled products. At the same time, however, to always keep an eye on social responsibility and customer interests. And the SPAX brand guarantees all customers the highest level of safety and quality.

A high degree of safety, quality and continuity. Reliable and uncompromising for the highest demands.

Voluntary roadworthiness testing as a safety guarantee - By decision of the EU Commission, the level in the system for assessment and verification of constancy of performance (AVCP system) for our products will be changed and reduced from 2+ to 3 in the future. This applies to our products, which are regulated by an ETA approval and therefore marked with a CE mark. Level 3 means that there is no longer any obligation for external monitoring by an independent materials testing institute (notified certification body) and thus a sole factory production control is sufficient.

In our opinion, this downgrade represents a departure from the proven four-eyes principle and thus leads to a lower level of consumer confidence in the products. To counteract this, SPAX continues to undergo voluntary technical monitoring by MPA Stuttgart. The products are marked on the packaging with this unique seal of approval.

In this way, our customers can continue to fully trust the continuously externally tested SPAX quality. Because safety comes first! We face up to our responsibility to have done the best we can for the safety of our products and our customers.

Stainless steel

SPAX stainless steel are particularly suitable for outdoor use. They are available in stainless steel A2 versions for outdoor applications exposed to direct weather conditions and for use in damp rooms (e.g. kitchen and bathroom). For applications in coastal areas, we recommend the version in stainless steel A4. Stainless steel is characterized by a high chromium content. This forms a protective layer on the material surface. Other alloying components such as nickel, molybdenum, manganese and niobium lead to even better corrosion resistance.

MPA

SPAX undergoes voluntary technical supervision by MPA Stuttgart. The products are marked on the packaging with this unique seal of approval.

SKH

In the certification process for the SKH stamp, the product and manufacturer are checked at regular intervals by an independent expert on the basis of specified requirements.
