Nail plug

It is often much more efficient to anchor a component into the substrate by means of so-called push-through installation. Our SPAX nail plugs are the perfect solution for such push-through installation. This time, however, the plug is not inserted into the drill hole first before positioning the component and then inserting the screw, but rather the plug+screw combination is pushed through the component into the drill hole at once. Made of high-quality nylon, the plug is sturdy, durable and highly resilient. Unlike conventional plugs, our nail plugs are installed using a hammer – meaning that no cordless screwdriver is required. A screwdriver is only needed if you want to loosen the fastening again, whether to rectify or remove the component. Push-through installation is useful when relatively slim components like boards, battens or even drywall profiles need to be anchored to a solid substrate especially quickly and securely.
