Threaded rods are used in structural timber engineering mainly for transverse tensile reinforcement of large-dimension timber components. The tensile force transmission works via the interlocking of the thread in the wood over a large length, which is naturally more extensive than with screws. You can save the time-consuming and cost-intensive gluing of the components by using threaded rods. Pre-drill the screw holes for our threaded rods with 12 mm, then simply screw them in. The screw-in torque is amazingly low even with 16 mm diameter and lengths up to 3000 mm. For you, this means: Fast processing even with the largest wood dimensions and highly loadable connections.
