The universal screw is the absolute all-rounder in the SPAX range. It can be screwed into almost anything - for example, without the annoying pre-drilling in softwoods such as spruce and pine as well as in the common wood-based panels (MDF, chipboard and OSB). Our universal screw shows its superiority especially in interior fittings and furniture construction, but it can also be used outside with the appropriate corrosion protection. Due to its special thread geometry, the insertion resistance during screwing is significantly lower than with conventional screws, which not only saves your strength, but of course also the battery of the screwdriver used. Splitting of the wood near the edge is almost completely prevented. For you, this means: You turn in more screws per battery charge, and you no longer have to worry about ripped wood ends!
