SPAX full-thread screws are the safe alternative to glued-on reinforcing plates and glued-in threaded rods. They are available with a countersunk or cylindrical head and with diameters from 6 to 12 mm, as well as zinc-plated, WIROX-coated or in stainless steel. Another alternative to lateral tension reinforcements is the SPAX threaded rod – with or without a head. This makes lateral tension reinforcements possible especially for large wooden elements. Thanks to their availability in long lengths from 800 to 3,000 mm, SPAX threaded rods are also an ideal substitute for glued-in, metric threaded rods.
