What does the CE marking mean?
Many products require a CE mark before they can be sold in the EU. The CE mark is an indication that a product has been tested by the manufacturer and that it meets all EU-wide safety, health and environmental protection requirements. It is mandatory for all products manufactured worldwide that are marketed in the EU.
